GET https://www.kavout.com/api — filter by symbol or trade_date.
GET https://www.kavout.com/api — with only product_id and api_key it returns the latest available data by default.
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
product_id | string · required | Dataset id, e.g. kscore_us. Listed with each product in User Center → API. |
api_key | string · required | Your account key. |
symbol | string | Comma-separated tickers to limit the rows returned and reduce payload: symbol=AAPL,AMZN. |
trade_date | YYYY-MM-DD | Return the snapshot for a historical date instead of the latest: trade_date=2018-07-16. |
field | string | Comma-separated columns to return, e.g. field=symbol,trade_date,kscore,sector. Omit to get every column. |
curl "https://www.kavout.com/api?product_id=kscore_us&symbol=AAPL,AMZN&api_key=YourAPIKey"
curl "https://www.kavout.com/api?product_id=kscore_us&trade_date=2018-07-16&api_key=YourAPIKey"
Use field to return only the columns you need — smaller payloads, faster parsing.
curl "https://www.kavout.com/api?product_id=kscore_us&trade_date=2018-07-16&symbol=AAPL,AMZN &field=symbol,trade_date,kscore,sector&api_key=YourAPIKey" [{ "symbol": "AAPL", "trade_date": "2018-07-16", "kscore": 3, "sector": "Information Technology" }, { "symbol": "AMZN", "trade_date": "2018-07-16", "kscore": 9, "sector": "Consumer Discretionary" }]
Each request returns at most 10,000 rows — see Limits & CSV download for full history.
Successful calls return a JSON array with HTTP 200. Errors return a JSON object with a negative status and a message:
| HTTP | When | Body |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | Unknown product_id, no active subscription for it, or a bad parameter | {"status": -1xxxx, "message": "..."} |
| 429 | More than 120 requests in a minute | {"status": -11025, "message": "You have reached the limit for requests per minute…"} |
Treat any non-array response as an error; back off for a minute on 429.
