Getting started

One endpoint, one key — your first call in under a minute.

Signal DB is a REST endpoint. Every dataset you subscribe to is available at the same URL, selected by product_id and authenticated by your api_key. Responses are JSON; CSV download is available for every product.

curl
curl "https://www.kavout.com/api?product_id=kscore_us&api_key=YourAPIKey"

No code needed: paste the URL into a browser and it returns the latest data. wget and curl work the same way.

Python
import requests

r = requests.get("https://www.kavout.com/api", params={
    "product_id": "kscore_us",
    "symbol": "AAPL,AMZN", # optional filters, see Endpoint & filters
    "api_key": "YourAPIKey",
})
rows = r.json() # list of dicts, one per stock
print(rows[0]["symbol"], rows[0]["kscore"])

What you get back

With only product_id and api_key the API returns the latest available data for the whole universe — one object per stock. See Response fields.
